Today was a beautiful day.sunny but cool. We had a birthday dinner for one of the girls . One of her sisters and husband,also her stepbrother and his wife were here to enjoy a ham dinner and apple pie. Lots of good conversation and great to see the kids together. Everyone helped clean up and the whole process went fairly fast. Of course I stayed out of the way with my walker as there was no more room in our small kitchen. I am still learning about this blog business so hopefully I am doing ok. Hve a great week everyone.

    Our weather here today has been gray,dismal with snow flurries scattered about but nothing staying on the ground. Hopefully it will improve before the end of the week as I am truly ready for spring to make an apperance. Today has been a restfulday as we had no company and we truly like to have some one of the children come to visit on the weekend. Hope yiu have a a springlike week.

    Hi Lilly, Glad to hear warm weather will soon be there. I bet it is pretty in South Carolina where your daughter is.
    I love to eat at Cracker Barrel and I love all their pretty things and CANDY!!!
    Do you by chance know Bea Nehrboss? She and her husband are my neighbor's parents. Just wondering.

    Mildred, everytine I write to my Grandaughter I have to smile when I address the envelope as the name of the town where they live is Good Creek. No I do not know anyone by the name of Nehrboss. We also have a Grandaughter in the Air Force who is stationed in Biloxi, Miss. She is a pharmacy Tec. She is supposed to be there for two years. My husband loves the pecan bars and also the peanut brittle at Cracker Barrel. I am especially fond of their lemon drops. Oh well, I don't need any of it but it is hard to pass by.
